What is Diani Rules?
     Diani Rules is a charity fund raising, fun sports weekend, that has been running for 17 years! It was started in 1990 by Iain & Angus Leckie, Marc Wollmann and Kathy Robertson, to try and persuade people that the coast was not such a bad place during the rainy season.

When is the next one?
     The next Diani Rules is Saturday May 31st to Monday June 2nd 2008, so you've got time to organise your team or save up your pennies to sponsor a game or buy lots of raffle tickets.

Where does the money go?
     Currently all the profit from Diani Rules goes to The Kwale District Eye Centre,a charitable eye hospital that specialises in cataract surgery in Kenya, East Africa. The Eye Centre also works in the community to educate local people about eye health and nutrition, provides emergency eye treatment & surgery and also supports and educates people whose sight can not be restored.      The funds raised from the first Diani Rules, in 1990, were donated to Galu Kinondo Primary school where they were given teachers' tables, doors, chairs and school desks. The following two years funds were turned into school desks and the schools in the district were asked to write letters applying for desks. Dr Helen Roberts MBE then started an Eye Hospital in Kwale District, in 1993 & the group decided to give the proceeds to the hospital from then on.

How can I enter a team?
     YOU can enter a team by organising 7 or more of your friends & work colleagues (at least 3 women) and clicking here for more information.

How do I sponsor a game?
     To sponsor a game contact jeromejw@hotmail.com. This year game sponsorship will be /-. Game sponsors will have the game named after their company & can have advertising banners up around the games for the whole weekend.

How do I get my logo & link on your sponsors page?
     Each pixel of the page costs 10Ksh, so if you entered a team, sponsored a game, or gave any other sponsorship money to Diani Rules, you automatically get the respective number of pixels.
